Peter Barden, Director
Peter has over 25 years experience in management, consultancy, training and assurance, specialising in climate change, environmental, risk management, supply chain and corporate social responsibility issues.

He has extensive UK and international experience working with FTSE350 and SME clients, in addition to which he has extensive experience of lecturing and speaking at conferences, seminars and courses on environmental, risk management and social accountability issues.

Peter has acted as 'technical expert' on various ISO, BSI and other committees related to environmental, greenhouse gas, climate change and forestry issues, and also as 'Expert Witness' in several litigation cases.

Peter is a Chartered Environmentalist, a Fellow of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, Member of the Institute of Social and Ethical AccountAbility (ISEA), and an IEMA Registered Principal Auditor.

     
 
 

Lucy Candlin, Director
Lucy has 20 years experience in the UK and S.E. Asia working with NGOs, a major technical environmental consultancy and latterly with KPMG's Global Sustainability Services. Lucy specialises in the assessment and management of environmental and sustainability impacts; liabilities associated with industrial and commercial organisations; climate change and performance management, reporting and assurance.

Lucy has extensive experience both with FTSE350 and SME clients in a variety of sectors including oil & gas, chemicals, electronic & electrical, food & drink, financial services, communications, utilities, and public sector.

Lucy is a Chartered Environmentalist, a Fellow of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, a member of IEMA's Professional Standards Committee and also the Full Member Assessment Panel, and an IEMA Registered Principal Auditor.

     
 

Mark Miller, Director
Prior to the founding of Future Perfect, Mark was Director and Senior Executive of KPMG's Global Sustainability Services in the UK. His responsibilities included the overall development and delivery of services and the maintenance of external accreditations.

Previously, Mark was responsible for business development projects globally within the SGS Group, Corporate Head Office; where he had a specific remit for the management and implementation of global assurance schemes relating to sustainability.

Mark was deeply involved with CEPPA (now SAI) in the development of Social Accountability (SA) 8000, for both the Standard and Guidance document and led the initial 8000 pilot audits.

In addition to his work in sustainability, Mark has extensive experience in the electronics and information technology sectors.

     
    Dr Katy Anderson, Associate

Katy has over 20 years experience working as an environmental management consultant, in industry and in research.  She specialises in sustainability reporting and assurance, management of environmental impacts and research to support policy development both for industry and government bodies.

After 5 years with Esso Petroleum Ltd, Katy undertook a PhD in stakeholder policy evaluation at Imperial College London.  Subsequently she joined Enviros, where she led the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control group, supporting more than 100 sites in complying with PPC and carrying out a revision of H1 Best Available Techniques guidance for  the Environment Agency.  Katy also works in international sustainable development, supporting two community-based NGO’s which she co-founded in 1985 in Ghana and Togo, West Africa.
Since 2003, she has focused her work on corporate social responsibility benchmarking and report assurance

    Dr Elizabeth Ness, Associate
Elizabeth has over 20 years experience in multinational electrotechnical industry, she is an expert in innovation, business development, corporate social responsibility, environment, health & safety.

Previously Elizabeth was the Director, Materials Technology with BICCGeneral Inc., Head of Global Environment, Health and Safety with BICC Cables and responsible for developing and implementing Environmental and Health & Safety strategies, policies and management processes at more than 50 facilities worldwide.  With Pirelli SpA, Elizabeth was General Manager Environment based at the Milan Head Office, covering both tyre and cable businesses.

Elizabeth is a Chartered Chemist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry; she is also a member of the Royal Institution of Great Britain.

     
   

Dr Kim Polgreen, Associate, Technical Specialist
Kim has over 10 years experience in environmental management in the commercial sector and 3 years with KPMG's Global Sustainability Services. Kim has experience in environmental audit, due diligence, environmental strategy development, integrated environmental management systems, and supply chain environmental management.

Kim is an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
